Chamber of Commerce Contract Win for C4C UK

C4C UK are please to announce the award of a IT Consultancy Framework contract for the St Helens Chamber of Commerce.  C4C UK were awarded the contract this week following stiff competition from over 100 companies.  We will be working in partnership with the chamber to assist local business with IT Network planning, troubleshooting and various other IT services to assist companies to become more operationally efficient.

Director Laurence Lai was so delighted he immediately went out and procured the now infamous two large Cornish pasties in celebration.
Wiping away the celebratory crumbs Laurence stated

‘ This shows how far the business has developed in the past 12 months and we are delighted to be working with the chamber of commerce.’

The Chamber of Commerce contract is the latest in a stream of new business that the company has recently won due to the straight talking and knowledgeable approach of the business.

In a nutshell, Virtualisation is a configuration technique that helps organisations to get the best from their server environment. It allows the installation of several independent "virtual" operating systems onto a single piece of server hardware, where each instance of the operating system thinks it's running on its own server. One piece of server hardware can therefore be 'virtualised' into several servers.

Why Virtualisation?

Consolidating servers as virtual machines on a smaller number of physical computers can save money on hardware costs and make centralised server management easier.
Virtualisation reduces power consumption and cooling requirements considerably.
Virtualisation also makes backup and disaster recovery simpler and faster, providing for a higher level of business continuity.
Virtual environments are ideal for testing new operating systems, service packs, applications and configurations before rolling them out on a production network.

C4Cuk will be found alongside representatives from Microsoft and Intel at the Manchester United ground Old Trafford on the 4th March 2009
